Colonels remain in 6th at NCAAs, Bachert one shot behind leader
Day three of the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship is in the books at Zollner G.C. in Angola, Ind. The Centre women's golf team played its best round of the tournament to date and made up some ground, but still remain in sixth place.
Centre shot a combined team score of 314 on Thursday, the fourth lowest of the day for the field. That brings their three-day total to 950 with one final day still to be played. The Colonels are one shot behind fifth place Mary Hardin-Baylor and eight shots behind Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Centre will be paired up with both Mary Hardin-Baylor and Wisconsin-Eau Claire for the final day of play.
