Colonels finish 4th at NCAAs, Bachert wins 2nd consecutive runner-up
The Centre women's golf team has concluded its most successful season in program history with its best postseason finish in program history. The Colonels had a phenomenal final day of play at the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship, finishing in fourth place for the tournament.

Day three of the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship is in the books at Zollner G.C. in Angola, Ind. The Centre women's golf team played its best round of the tournament to date and made up some ground, but still remain in sixth place.

Three Colonels receive honors from NCGA
Centre College golfers Emily Bachert, Allison Hancock and Whitney Miller have all received awards from the National Golf Coaches Association for the 2011-12 season. All three players were named to the Great Lakes All-Region team, and Bachert was named a first-team All-American.

Colonels in 6th halfway through NCAA Championship
The Centre women's golf team finished its second of four days of play at the 2012 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Zollner G.C. in Angola, Ind., hosted by Trine University. After ending yesterday's round tied for seventh, the Colonels currently own sole possession of sixth place.

2012 NCAA Championship Preview
For the third consecutive season, the Centre women's golf team will be participating in the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship. The Colonels will look to improve on last season's 7th place finish at Mission Inn G.C. This year, the tournament will take place at Zollner G.C. at Trine University in Angola, Ind., and will run from May 8th to May 12th.

The Centre women's golf team finished its first day of competition at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship at Zollner G.C. in Angola, Ind., hosted by Trine University. After stumbling down the stretch, the Colonels are tied for seventh after posting a combined team score of 317.

Record performance leads Centre to SCAC Women’s Golf Title
For the first time in the history of the Centre women’s golf program, the Colonels have won a conference championship. The Centre women’s golf team won the 2012 SCAC Championship today at Tunica G.C. in Mississippi by 33 shots over second place Birmingham Southern.

The Centre women's golf team is in first place after the first day of play in the SCAC Championship tournament at Tunica, Miss. after posting a combined team score of 315.

Centre women finish 2nd at Illinois Wesleyan
The Centre women's golf team, ranked fourth in the country in the most recent Golfstat poll, competed in the 2012 Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling this weekend in Normal, Ill. Facing inclement weather and one of the toughest fields of the season, the Colonels finished second with a combined team score of 637 over the two-day tournament.

Centre wins Spring Invite, sets school record
The Centre women's golf team won their home spring invite on Saturday over Bellarmine and Campbellsville with a combined team score of 300, an all-time low in program history.

Colonels finish 3rd at Jekyll Island
The Centre women's golf team competed at the Jekyll Island Women's Collegiate over the weekend against some of the best competition of the spring season. At the end of the three-day tournament, the Colonels finished in third place out of 21 teams.

Colonels defeat conference foes at Rhodes Tri-Match
The Centre women's golf team played its first competition against Division III opponents Sunday at the Rhodes Tri-Match at Hermitage C.C. in Nashville, Tenn., and they picked up where they left off at the end of the fall schedule - with a win.

The Centre women’s golf team will head out for its first competition of the spring season against Division III opponents when they travel to Hermitage G.C. in Nashville, Tenn. to take part in the Rhodes Tri-Match.

Colonels finish second in spring opener
The Centre women’s golf team competed in its first tournament of the year at the Webber International Invitational at Lake Wales C.C. in Orlando, Fla. The Colonels were the only Division III team in the field at the Sunday-Monday tournament, as the rest of the field was comprised of Division II and NAIA programs. Battling fierce winds and occasional bouts of heavy rain, Centre finished the tournament in second place with a combined team score of 652.

Coming off the heels of the best season in team history and a seventh place finish at last year’s NCAA championships, the Centre women’s golf team opens the 2010-11 season ranked eighth in the country in the Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Colonels received 393 total points in the poll.
