Record number on 2011 Spring SCAC Academic Honor Roll
The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) had a record number of student-athletes make the 2011 SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll. Last year 1,077 student-athletes made the list while 1,106 received the honor this year.
Since its inception in the fall of 1997, over 18,500 student-athletes have achieved recognition for their efforts in the classroom.
Student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference.
Centre College had 117 student-athletes make the SCAC Spring Academic Honor Roll, setting a new school record.
