Centre hosts the Kentucky Football Coaches Association Summer Clinic

The annual Kentucky Football Coaches Association Summer Clinic was held at Sutcliffe Hall on the campus of Centre College in Danville, Ky. on Thursday, June 24 and Friday, June 25.

During the clinic the University of Kentucky head football coach, Joker Phillips, the University of Louisville head football coach, Charlie Strong, the Western Kentucky University head football coach, Willie Taggart, and the Eastern Kentucky University head football coach, Dean Hood all spoke. Neal Brown, the offensive coordinator at Texas Tech University, Tony Joe White, the offensive coordinator at Centre College, Jamal Powell, the offensive line coach at Centre, and Carter Conley, the defensive coordinator at Centre, also spoke at the event.

The turnout for the Kentucky Football Coaches Association Summer Clinic was was the largest since the KFCA has run the event on Centre's campus.

Centre will open the 2010 season on Saturday, September 4 against Hanover College at home in Danville, Ky. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
