Albright selected as the SCAC Special Teams Player-of-the-Week

Junior Jordan Albright (Cincinnati, Ohio) has been selected as the SCAC Football Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for games played Saturday, September 11.

The Colonels took on Maryville College in Maryville, Tenn. on Saturday, September 11 and Centre came away with a 35-0 win over the Scots to put them at 1-1 on the season.

Albright had a big game for Centre as he returned four punts for 119 yards for an average of 29.8 yards per punt. On one of his returns Albright ran for 54 yards.

He also led the team in receptions, as he caught four passes for 33 yards.

The Colonels will open conference play this weekend, Saturday, September 18, as they face DePauw University at 7:30 p.m. in Danville, Ky.
